About Us
Growing up in the heart of Ohio, we, James and Trent, learned the importance of hard work and dedication early on. Our journey took an exciting turn when James, at just 15, met the love of his life at a teen dance where he and our father were DJing. She hailed from the beautiful state of North Carolina, and this chance meeting sparked a series of events that ultimately shaped our path.
A Fresh Start
After overcoming life’s many challenges together, James and his wife bravely chose to relocate to North Carolina, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. There, James began building his career in the construction industry, gradually earning trust and recognition within the community. As his reputation flourished, he reached out to Trent and our father, inviting them to join him in his growing venture.
Building Together
For a time, the three of us worked side by side, passionately committing ourselves to each project we undertook. Although our dad eventually returned to Ohio, we—James and Trent—remained in North Carolina, united by a shared vision and commitment. Our father’s early introduction to sunrooms inspired James, but it was his experience at a large corporate sunroom company that ignited his true passion. Starting from the bottom and rising to Regional Sunroom Manager, James gained invaluable insights into both the successes and shortcomings of the industry.
A New Vision
James’s experience illuminated a significant issue in the industry—many companies placed profits over customer satisfaction, resulting in dissatisfied customers and substandard workmanship. Determined to make a difference, James seized the opportunity in 2019 to open branches for another large sunroom company in North and South Carolina. However, he envisioned making a greater impact. In 2020, amidst challenging circumstances, he founded Bearded Brothers Renovations LLC, initially centered around renovations. Soon, his passion for sunrooms inspired the company to specialize in sunroom installations and enclosures, quickly establishing a unique niche in the Charlotte area.
In October 2020, Trent also married the love of his life, a North Carolina native, solidifying our roots in the community even further. Together, the brothers continued their journey, with James leading the sunroom projects and Trent providing unwavering support.

In 2024, we proudly established Bearded Brothers Sunrooms Corp., driven by shared values of integrity, transparency, and clear communication. Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure each customer fully understands their project from start to finish. We embrace honesty—even when it means saying “no”—because not every project aligns with our vision and commitment to quality.
